About Cara Alvey
Cara Alvey is a seasoned professional with 20 years of experience in the industry. She has honed her craft at esteemed institutions, including the British/American Drama Academy in Oxford, the New Actor’s Workshop in NYC, Howard Fine in Los Angeles, Jean Fowler’s Coach Works in Scottsdale, AZ, and HB Studio’s “Hagen Actor’s Lab” in NYC.
An award-nominated actress and choreographer, Cara has garnered accolades such as a Zoni Award for her choreography in “Peter Pan,” a Scottie Award for her portrayal of Kitty in “Charlie’s Aunt,” and a Prizm Award for her performance as Susie in “Wait Until Dark.” Recently, she has expanded her artistic repertoire to include directing theater productions working on projects as an on-set coach.
Her commercial credits include Bestway,, and Walmart, as well as voiceover spots on radio and a national Subaru commercial.
Cara’s film credits include “Adam’s Eve,” which she won Best Supporting Actress Outstanding Achievement Award at Roshani International Film Festival 2024 and “Pause,” a film that achieved 14 official worldwide and won Best Short Film three times in 2018. She has also gained valuable experience in casting through her collaboration with Fishgate Productions.
Excitingly, Cara is thrilled to announce that the film ‘Church Girl’ has been officially selected for the 168 Film Festival, along with five additional official selections worldwide. Additionally, one of her students recently won an award for “Excellence in Acting” at the Show Low Film Festival. Cara is proudly represented by Dani’s Agency.
